Carlo Giovani is an exceptionally talented designer. His studio's work has been featured in the New York Times, MTV and more. One of his specialties is 3-D paper characters, which he uses in some stop-motion animations as well. The packaging-as-toy concept is highlighted here in this tea box, where the head 'opens' to reveal the contents. I thought this was hilarious and clever at the same time.
We've featured paper characters in the past, but Carlo takes the concept to new and more practical levels.
